Nomadic House 유목하는 집

집은 누구에게나 소중하다. 이는 집의 크기나 위치, 상황과는 상관없다.
하지만 재개발로 인해 반강제로 이주해야 하는 사람에게 이것은 더욱 절실할 것이다.
슬픈 일이지만 어쩔 수 없는 일이기도 하다.
사람들은 이사를 할 때 에어 캡 (일명 뽁뽁이)으로 물건들을 포장한다.
소중한 물건일 경우는 더욱 그러하다.
이 작업은 집의 모형을 에어 캡으로 포장한 것이다.
소중하지만 어쩔 수 없이 이사해야 하는 현실을 표현했다.
나아가 완전하지는 않지만 투명한 소재인 에어 캡은 재개발로 인해 집의 내부사정(집의 크기나 집세, 입주자나 주거 인원에 대한 정보)이 드러나는 것을 의미하기도 한다.

Houses are precious to us all no matter what scale, location or situation.
To people who are compelled to move because of redevelopment the housing situation is urgent. Such a situation is all the more sad because we are powerless in the face of it.
People usually wrap their possessions with bubble-wrap when they move, especially their most valuable things.
This bubble-wrapped model house seeks to express the reality of being compelled to move from a precious house.
The transparency of bubble-wrap reveals the inside story of the house - information about the residents, the scale, the rent, etc.)
