만안구 지역탐사 - 물길, 바람길, 사람길 발굴

▪ 내용: 만안구 뉴타운 사업 지구의 경계와 만안구 일대의 주요 장소들을 모든 참여자들이 걸어서 탐사하고 리서치 하는 프로그램으로 SAP2010의 초반에 진행되어 전체 프로젝트 실행을 위한 일종의 프리 워크숍 pre-workshop의 성격을 갖는 선행연구 과정이다. 7월과8월에는 SAP2010 레지던시 입주 작가들과 APAP2010 참여작가들을 대상으로 탐사를 진행한다


Exploring ManAn District - Finding waterway, wind road and alleys

▪ Contents: This exploration program is a precedent study that all the participants walk, explore, and do research about border of ManAn New Town Project Area and the significant places of ManAn District as a pre-workshop. From July to August, we are going to explore ManAn District with SAP2010 Artists and APAP2010 Artists.

얀 레미츠: 만안 아카이브 파일만안구 내에는 서로 다른 시간의 층위들이 걸어 다닐 수 있는 거리 내에 공존한다. 작은 마을로서의 기원으로부터 현재 한국의 밀집된 도시적 공간까지. 도시 재개발은 변화의 끊임없는 과정이다. ‘만안 아카이브 파일’은 현대 도시와 그것의 다양한 층위들과 역사들 사이의 섬세한 경계를 이해하는 것의 절박함에 대해 다룬다. 도시 자체가 하나의 전시공간이 될 것이다. ‘만안 8경’의 의미에서 선택된 8개 장소의 사진들이 다양한 장소에 위치한 벽에 보여질 것이고, 각각의 사진은 각 장소 마다 전시 될 것이다.


Jan Lemitz : ManAn Archive Files

In ManAn district different periods co-exist within walking distance. From its origins as a village to dense, urban space of the Korean city of the present. Urban renewal is a continuous process of change. The ‘ManAn Archive Files‘ address the urgency of understanding the present city and the fine lines between its different layers and their histories. The city itself will become the exhibition space. Photographs of 8 selected sites in them of ‘ManAn 8 Gyeong (the eight famous spots of ManAn district)’ will appear on walls in different locations. A photograph will be displayed of each of the sites.

장준영: 하늘 정원과 도깨비 공작소 그리고 석수동 사람들

본 프로젝트는 만안구 뉴타운 사업지구에 포함된 석수 2동에 자리한 스톤앤워터 갤러리 옥상의 버려진 공간을 살려서 석수동 주민들과 함께 정원을 가꾸고, 공작소를 운영하는 프로젝트이다. 창고였던 공간을 공작소로 새롭게 보수 단장하고 망가진 물건을 고치거나 재생산하려는 주민들의 욕구를 같이 고민하고 해결하는 일을 할 예정이다. 정원에서는 야생화와 함께 쉽게 키울 수 있는 채소, 농작물 등을 키워서 주민들에게 자연의 활력소를 주고자 하고, 공작이나 자연학습에 관련된 연계수업도 병행할 계획이다. 주민들과 함께 돌보고 가꾸며 장시적으로 이 공간이 동네의 휴식처로써 문화교류의 장으로 거듭나기를 희망한다.


Junyeong Jang : Sky Garden, DoKkeBi Workroom, and Seoksu District neighbors

This project is in the rooftop of Gallery Stone&Water located in Seoksu 2-dong which involved to the new town project area, regenerates this abandoned spaces, gardening with people in Seoksu-dong and manages workroom. This project attempts to newly renovate the warehouse into a workroom, to share the residents’ desire and solve to repairs or reproduces broken stuffs. In the garden, we will grow wild flowers, vegetables, crops to give vitality to residents, and also have classroom related to crafts and nature. I hope this project will devote as a rest place and a field for culture exchange which is possible to take care with residents in the long term.

이대일: 新만안교 프로젝트 – 안양천 뱃놀이

이대일 작가는 시간과 공간의 역사가 축적된 재료로 작가가 직접 제작한 목재 조각배에 지역 주민을 초대하여 그들과 함께 대화를 나누며 안양천 곳곳의 물길을 따라 뱃놀이를 진행했다. 뱃놀이는 탑승자와 작가 사이의 소통의 기제로써 작용하여 인연을 만들고 사람과 사람을 연결한다. 배에 작가와 동승한 주민들은 자신이 가지고 있는 안양의 추억, 그리고 도시와 자신들의 삶, 미래에 대한 이야기를 진지하게 들려주었다. 뱃놀이 이후에 작가와 탑승자가 나눈 선상 대화는 녹음, 편집되어, 작가의 조각배와 함께 전시기간 동안 안양천 주변에 사운드 작업으로 설치될 예정이다.



Daeil Lee: New ManAn Bridge Project – Anyang River Boating

Daeil Lee invites local citizens and gets into a conversation with them when boating along the waterways of Anyang River. Boating leads the conversation between the passenger and the artist and connects the two. Passengers talk to the artist about their precious memory of Anyang, their lives and their future plans etc. Conversation between the two is recorded, and it is edited and displayed as a sound installation with the boat near Anyang River during the Exhibition.

골목 그림책 만들기

“어느 골목이나 이야기가 있고 숨겨진 사연들이 있다. 치닫는 도시개발의 광풍에 휘말려 골목에 숨어있는 이야기들은 사라지거나 지워져 가고 있다. 우리는 다시 골목에 주목한다. 골목이 전하는 이야기를 발굴하고 재구성하고 그것과 대화를 시도하고자 한다. 기존의 정형화된 공공벽화제작과는 차별화된 방식으로 지속적으로 변화하고 자라면서 뿌리내리며 다시 골목으로 번져나가는 담쟁이 넝쿨처럼 다양한 이야기 그림들이 한 권의 ‘골목그림책’ 혹은 여러 권의 ‘그림책 골목’으로 연출되었으면 한다.”_박찬응

Making an Alley Picture-book

“Every Alley contains a story. Due to urban development, all the veiled stories are getting either disappear or effaced. We pay attention to the alley again. We discover the story of the alley, reconstitute, and try to attempt to establish a dialogue. Different from the usual method of creating mural painting, I want this project to be directed as either ‘an alley picture-book’ or ‘several storybook alleys’ with various story images which continuously change, grow, put down roots and spread like ivy. – Chaneung Park

이미화: 만안하세요?! – 공간 설치 작업
SAP2010 프로젝트 사무실 내 공간 설치 작업 l 컨셉_이미화, 협업 유리작가_이윤철
도시의 새로운 주조 색 ‘Alternative Green (대체 녹색)’은 도시인의 이기利己가 밀어낸 녹색환경에 대한 인간의 모순된 반응이 낳은 인공적인 녹색 환경의 주조 색이다. 칠성사이다 공병을 이용해 ‘Alternative Green (대체 녹색)’의 도시적 풍경과 함께 SAP2010 로고를 조형한 설치작업이다.

이미화: 사인 ‘만안하세요?!’
사인 ‘만안하세요?!’는 교통 차량의 속도를 통제하기 위한 용도의 과속방지턱을 이용한 구조물로서 자본주의 논리에 편중된 뉴타운 개발의 그 “과한” 속도를 반성적 자세로 성찰하며 과거와 현재가 조화를 이루는 보다 완만한 속도의 도시개발을 염원하는 SAP2010의 중심 개념 ‘New Old Man An Design’을 상징화한다.



Meewha Lee: Manan Haseyo?! – Space installation
A new dominant color of the city, ‘Alternative Green’, is the dominant color of an artificial green environment which is caused by the contradictory response from city people after they eliminated the green nature environment by applying their selfishness. For the installation, the artist creates urban landscape in ‘Alternative Green’ by using a lot of green emptied bottles and building the logo of SAP2010.

Meewha Lee: Sign ‘Manan Haseyo?!’
Sign ‘Manan Haseyo?!’ is a structure that uses speed bump for controlling the speed of vehicles, and it symbolizes ‘New Old Man An Design’, the core concept of SAP2010 which introspects the “excessive” speed of New Town Development that leans toward capitalism and wishes for urban development in more gradual tempo for harmony with the past and present.

제1회 만만한 영화제




2010년 7월 1일부터 8월 18일까지 만안 지역과 안양을 배경으로 하거나 소재로 한 영상작품이라면 누구나 출품할 수 있는 제1회 만만한 영화제 작품 공모를 진행했고, 내부심사와 외부심사를 거쳐 8편의 작품을 선정했다. 선정된 작품의 대부분은 다양한 장르를 빌려 만안 지역과 안양을 배경으로 소소한 일상의 이야기를 다룬다. 9월 3일부터 10월 3일까지 진행되는 영화제 프로그램은 선정된 출품작과 SAP2010 참여작가들의 영상작업 및 초대작품으로 구성된다. 주민과 예술가들이 만든 다양한 영상을 만나볼 수 있는 이번 제1회 만만한 영화제를 통해 과거 한국 영화의 산실인 안양촬영소가 위치했던 안양지역의 과거와 현재와 미래를 연결하는 기회를 마련해 보고자 한다.

The 1st ManManHan Independent Film Festival


In 2010, we launched a short film competition called ManManHan Film Festival 2010 from July 1st to August 18th. We selected 8 films representing a variety of genres with almost all relating to the Manan area of Anyang. The festival will be screening from September 3rd until October 3rd. The screening program consists mainly of selected films and video art made by SAP2010 residency artists, also includes the invited documentary film. Through this Film Festival, we try to provide an opportunity for connecting the past, the present, and the future of Anyang, where Anyang Film Studio, the cradle of Korean movie industry was located at.
