The Special Memory Service 특별한 추억을 위한 서비스


Here in the streets of Manan-gu, vendors sell vegetables, fruit and other commodities from the back of small trucks. As they slowly drive around these streets they announce their wares and deals from crackly loud hailers, literally drumming up business with pre-recorded and looped calls. But if the those trucks instead played music, announced dreams or recited some memorable event then how would that be?

This is the Special Truck of The Special Memory Service for these special days. People of Manan-gu who want to share their happy or funny memorable moments and melodies can send it to the heavens on these special days. Anything is welcome - jokes, songs, poetry or storytelling, whatever you like. Like other people I also use this truck to bear my memories and imaginations; the microphone of this truck broadcasts my voice and melodies.

Houses, villages and cities can be demolished but memories, dreams and music can't be wiped out so easily. The truck is going on with a purpose of freely sharing our thoughts. I give everyone this chance to become such a street vendor...so what’s on your mind?


만안구 거리, 이곳에서 행상인들은 소형 트럭 뒤에서 채소, 과일 및 그 외의 다른 상품을 판다. 그들은 이곳 거리를 천천히 운전하면서 딱딱거리는 소리를 내는 휴대용 확성기로 그들이 파는 상품과 판매에 대해 알리고, 사전 녹음된 반복적으로 재생되는 음성으로 사업을 선전한다. 그런데 만약 이런 트럭들이 상품을 선전하는 대신에 음악을 들려주거나, 꿈을 이야기하고, 기억에 남을 만한 일에 대해 낭독한다면 어떨까?

이것은 특별했던 날들과 특별한 추억을 기억하기 위해 서비스를 제공하는 특별한 트럭이다. 행복하고 재미있었던 잊혀지지 않는 순간들과 멜로디를 공유하고 싶은 만안구의 사람들은 그 특별한 시간들을 천국으로 보낼 수 있다. 농담, 노래, 시 혹은 이야기들, 여러분이 좋아하는 것이라면 그 어떤 것도 환영이다. 나는 또한 다른 사람들과 마찬가지로 이 트럭을 나의 기억과 상상력을 싣는데 사용하며, 트럭의 마이크는 나의 목소리와 멜로디를 방송하게 된다.

집, 마을 그리고 도시는 소멸될 수 있지만, 기억, 꿈 그리고 음악은 쉽사리 사라지지 않는다. 트럭은 우리가 생각을 자유롭게 공유할 수 있도록 움직일 것이다. 나는 모든 이들에게 이러한 거리의 노점상인이 될 수 있는 기회를 줄 것이다. 당신의 생각은 어떤가요?
